May is my birthday month! Having a moment now to reflect about everything. Haha. And though I‘m facing the trials(mostly financial in nature, haha) head on and enjoying all the moments with others(family and friends) and myself(haha), my life has really yet to unravel. And whether it will on this upcoming 38th year of mine or not(haha), I thank God for these gifts of appreciation and excitement for life that have continue to grip me everyday until now. Haha. I can only relate it to Grace.

Directed by Guillaume Cagniard and in celebration of Record Store Day, Record Makers will be releasing an exclusive 7-inch by Sébastien Tellier & Caroline Polachek of Chairlift. It features the yet unreleased track “In The Crew Of Tea Time” which was recorded last year in Paris. Sébastien had met Caroline when Chairlift opened for his 2009 “Sexuality” US tour, and they always wanted to record a song together since then.

I soo want to watch the Yeah Yeah Yeahs this coming January 30th for Music’s Big Night Out at Fort Canning Park in Singapore, but I just have “No budget!” Hahaha. Gosh! There’s also Laneway Fest after a few days still in Singapore (These are the only times I wonder why I’m in the wrong city. Hahaha.). I’m just gonna belt now, “Wait, they don’t love you like I do” like Karen O in this fave Yeah Yeah Yeahs’s(love) song of mine, Maps in utter frustration to this special someone I’ve also yet to meet (That’s the Valentine dread speaking as well.
