I soo want to watch the Yeah Yeah Yeahs this coming January 30th for Music’s Big Night Out at Fort Canning Park in Singapore, but I just have “No budget!” Hahaha. Gosh! There’s also Laneway Fest after a few days still in Singapore (These are the only times I wonder why I’m in the wrong city. Hahaha.). I’m just gonna belt now, “Wait, they don’t love you like I do” like Karen O in this fave Yeah Yeah Yeahs’s(love) song of mine, Maps in utter frustration to this special someone I’ve also yet to meet (That’s the Valentine dread speaking as well. LOL.).
Love and Favorite Books
- Leo: So look, i've been thinking about something.
- Paige: Ok.
- Leo: What's your favorite book?
- Paige: Uh, it's probably not what you remember.
- Leo: It's fine. That's not the point.
- Paige: Ok. The Beachhouse by James Patterson.
- Leo: Really?
- Paige: Yeah.
- Leo: Ok. Haha. The Beachhouse. Ok. If it was great, you probably loaned it to somebody. Right?
- Paige: Yeah. Gwen, I think.
- Leo: You probably said to yourself I wish I was the person who hadn't read it so I can experience it all over again.
- Paige: Yeah. I guess so.
- Leo: Well, that's how I think we should look at this.
- Paige: What?
- Leo: You can't remember how we met and you can't remember how we fell in love. In that way, yeah that sucks, but it was the greatest time of my life. And I just thought how cool it would be to get to experience it all over again.
- Paige: Like reading your favorite book for the first time.
- Leo: Exactly! Which is why I want to ask you out on a date.
- Paige: A date?
- Leo: Like two people who are just meeting for the first time.
